Congratulations to our iHHub friends in Rotenburg, Germany who conducted a Heart Failure screening initiative in a meeting hall provided by the City Mayor on 5th May. The event was promoted with support from the City of Rotenburg Communications and Public Relations Department. A total of 66 people availed of this screening opportunity. After completing a pre-screening questionnaire, they then had blood samples taken to measure NT-pro BNP (the biomarker for Heart Failure diagnosis) which was analysed by staff from Rotenburg upon Fulda Heart Centre.
Well done to Klaus Edel and his association, Defibrillator (ICD) Deutschland e.V., for this valuable service to their community and a special thanks to his family members who also dedicated their time to this important initiative in raising awareness of Heart Failure. Keep checking in to this website to see the progress of our European heart patient organisation alliance for their awareness activities on the Acting on Heart Failure campaign.
